Cash Rebate Shopping Series: The “I didn’t even think of that” College Items

- Image via Wikipedia
Not every kid who starts college is allowed to have a car on campus. However, there are plenty returning to campus that have cars that probably don’t think about dead batteries or flat tires. I have to say, my college security knew me by name because I called them every time it rained, because I left my lights on and drained my battery. At the end of a long, wet day the last thing I wanted to do was have to wait around for someone to help me jump start my car. I was a commuter student…..enough said!
In honor of my inability to remember to turn my lights off, I give you a couple of “I didn’t even think of that” items for the must haves at college!
Shop through ShopAtHome, head over to Target where you can receive 5% cash rebate, so you can get a Battery Jumper with Air Compressor for $99.00 (it qualifies for Bullseye Free Shipping)! Check it out here–>Jump Starter with Air Compressor. I’m thinking beyond my experience with the dead battery and raising you the chance to fill your tire with air so you can get to the closest repair shop to get the tire looked at, fixed or replaced, without having to worry about driving on your rims and destroying them.
Again, shop through ShopAtHome over at Target for a First Aid Kit. Everyone remembers the band aids and cotton balls, but there are plenty of other items that kids will need in their dorm. Trust me! Not only will they need this in the dorm room, but if they take a day trip in the car, or are driving home for a visit. It’s got an emergency blanket, first aid tape, instant cold compress, ointments, GLOVES, gauze, a first aid guide and of course, bandages of all sizes. It’s the All-Purpose First Aid Kit and it qualifies for Bullseye Free Shipping! Check this little goodie out here —> FIRST AID KIT
Another item most kids won’t realize they need until they’re trying to study and their roommates are having a fight, or making a ton of noise playing Guitar Hero or something equally annoying: EAR PLUGS. Now, I wasn’t able to find a way cash rebate site to purchase ear plugs through. Good ones. So I am just sharing this information with you, if you want to go through a cash rebate site and shop at Target, I believe there are disposable ones that might work out for you. But definitely look into it!
Happy shopping. And remember, go through the cash rebate site first, then look for the item I have suggested, so that you are sure to earn your cash rebates!
