Cash Back Shopping: Buying Household Items on Clearance

Overstock.com is a favorite website of mine. They offer items at discount prices. It’s where we’re headed for our cash back shopping of high-quality items like bedding, home decor, clothing, jewelry, appliances and more. Plus they have fantastic customer services. You can join OMail and receive email exclusive coupons like free shipping, site-wide promo notifications like $1 shipping and recommendations.

They even have a membership called Club O Rewards. Of course, I’m not a huge fan of this because it charges you $19.95 per year – HOWEVER, if you shop with them often, it really is worth it. They offer you 5% rewards on EVERY PURCHASE, plus free shipping (excludes Hawaii and Alaska), exclusive shopping events and rewards that save you money.

If you need to buy wholesale, they even have a site for that! It’s called O.biz. If you own your own business, or just need to buy a case of 36 assorted toddler sandals – you can! Just throwing it out there, not suggesting you dive in and buy if you don’t need wholesale items.

Here’s why I’m here today writing about Overstock.com. It’s their CLEARANCE BINS. I love checking out their clearance bins. They reduce prices even further on EVERYTHING you can imagine. Today, I’m going to tap into the furniture and home & garden clearance bins.

First up, home & garden. They’ve got fireplaces…..I kid you not. Indoor outdoor portable fireplace made by Wesley for $115.99. This exact same fireplace at Touch of Class is $159.99, normally $199.99. Over at Stacks and Stacks it’s $149.95. Target has it for $134.99. Overstock.com is also doing $1 shipping on your entire order right now, and when you spend $75 or more, you get FREE SHIPPING. Great time to take advantage of a great deal.

Fireplace isn’t your thing? Let’s see a piece of furniture, shall we? I have a think for Ottomans. Leather ones are my favorite. I dream of my children growing up and me being able to get a brown, leather ottoman……and a lot of other things, too. But I  love them. Overstock has a Nottingham Brown Bonded Leather Folding Storage Ottoman for $71.99, normally $99.00. I saw it on Amazon.com for $114.98. Sure they offer free shipping, but right now it only costs a $1 for shipping with Overstock, so you save BIG TIME on this item.

As always, you have to find your favorite Cash Rebate website and shop through them! Find Overstock.com, click through and earn cash back on your purchases. The one offering the biggest percentage for Overstock.com right now is ShopAtHome.com. You earn 5% cash back on your purchase. If you happen to find a higher rate someplace else, head back to ShopAtHome.com, click on the tab that says 110% Guaranteed and fill it out, continue through and shop with ShopAtHome.com at Overstock and ShopAtHome will not only MATCH the higher percentage, but add 10%.

  1. This is fantastic! I can’t wait to check this out, I didnt even know they had a clearance bins section. The only things I’ve ever purchased from Overstock are TMobile cell phones (free with contract renewal) and sets of organic pillows. I couldnt believe what a great price they had on the pillows – I got a 4 pack of king size pillows for less than $50! Alright, I’m off to check out the clearance bins; thanks for this great find! :)
