Frugal Meals Guest Blog: Menu Planning Basics
Menu Planning is not as difficult as you may think! In just a few minutes, you can have your whole week (or two) planned out and feel a sense of relief that there’s one less thing you have to do every day!
Here are some tips to help you start menu planning:
- Start by focusing on 1-2 meals per week- Start small and work your way up! By planning just a few meals a week, you can get into the flow of how you would like things to work for your family!
- Pick quick & easy meals that your family will love- This creates less stress on you because you know the kids will like it (no complaints… who doesn’t love that?!?) and it won’t take long to prepare the meal.
- Take into account everyone’s schedules- There’s nothing worse than to try and fix a lovely meal on a day when everyone’s at practice, working late, etc.!
While Menu Planning isn’t rocket science, it can be a great help to us moms who have enough on their plate!
