Cash Back Shopping: Travel
I don’t travel much. One, I don’t like to fly. Two, no money in the budget to really do a vacation that’s worth it. Three, I really just love being home. It took me a long time to find our home and I would rather spend the money on the house. But when I do travel, I try to head to travel deals sites like Travelocity. Plus, I try to see if hotels I love are listed on the Cash Back sites, also. My first stop is always ShopAtHome.com, you knew that was coming, right?!!!! It works out well, because Travelocity is on there and you know I love cash back shopping!
Travelocity actually has great little coupons and right now, EXTRA CASH BACK opportunities. So I must share them, though I won’t be able to partake in this savings right now, it’s never a thought in my head to hide these deals from those of you who travel. I try to keep my bitterness to myself that you’re able to fly without fear, your budget allows for vacation…..well, this isn’t about me, it’s about you guys and saving money.

Marriott is also on the list. You can get Extra Cash Back with Marriott Hotels and Resorts until February 13th. Normally, they offer just 3% cash back, but until the 13th, you can get 6% cash back. But that’s really not the end of it. You can also shop through the same page for extra cash back when you book an online reservation with BedAndBreakfast.com AND you will save $25 when you make the reservatiojn . Normally the cash back is 5%, but until February 13th, it’s up to 8% cash back. The moral of this post: When planning a trip, whether for business or pleasure, MAKE SOMETHING on it! Get some cash back into your pocket. Head to your favorite cash back sites, hunt around for things like Travelocity, or a hotel you enjoy staying at and even good old bed and breakfast websites. Another hint? Get some gift certificates to local places to eat with Restaurant.com. You can search by zip code, so you can find places close to where you’re travelingto.
