I’m not a huge Easter celebration kind of chick. My family roasts a lamb (my favorite) and that’s about the extent of my love of the holiday. I was born on Good Friday the year of my birth and for years, I had always wanted my birthday to fall on Easter….and it never did and I just started to resent the holiday. LOL. Petty, I know. But I was a kid and it stuck with me. Finally, my birthday did fall on Easter, but I was older and it had lost its appeal by that point.

Last year we even hosted the occasion at our house. Too many people packed into my home, so I don’t think we’ll be doing that again. When you have a “sit down” dinner, it’s just not working in my eat in kitchen!
