Kindergarten graduation. It happened. It’s so nuts how there’s graduations for everything lately. My son went from preschool to Universal Pre-Kindergarten, he had a graduation. A year later, in full cap and gown, he graduated from Universal Pre-Kindergarten and into Kindergarten. Now, this year, in his regular shirt and shorts, he graduated from Kindergarten into First Grade. Buying this kid gifts for every little thing is a bit taxing on my budget, so what better way to celebrate his newest achievement? Cards for kids that are fun, and sort of like a gift within kids cards!

Cards for kids

Cards for kids #shop #cbias #kidscardsI’m the worst when it comes to giving cards. I always wander over to the wrong area at Walmart. I’m always getting chastised “It’s not a birthday, it’s a graduation!” Or, “Why are you looking at the get well cards, she’s getting married.” Picking out cards is not my favorite part of the gift giving process, and if it’s for a kid, I just want to get the kid something fun. Who cares if it’s not your birthday, it’s BATMAN! Who’s with me? I can’t be alone!

Cards for kids #kidscards #shop #cbiasMy little ones know when a special day is happening, there’s no guarantee the card they get will reflect the occasion. If it’s a birthday, they could end up with a congratulations card. I shop for things the kids will love. Little Miss loves Tinker Bell…. I just look for Tinker Bell stuff. I don’t care if it says Congrats on your little bundle of joy….well, maybe not that one, but you know what I’m getting at. If The Boy is into Batman, he’s getting whatever Batman themed card I can find that he’ll totally love.

Seriously, how can I resist hooking this kid up with a card that goes from card, to poster in seconds?

So what if it’s not his birthday, but rather his Kindergarten Graduation? He’s happy, I’m happy, life’s too short to worry about the occasion a card is for! We just want the poster inside.

Happy Celebration is so much better than “congrats” anyway. If the card is a congrats on your graduation, just replace graduation with birthday! See, it all works out in the long run. Or just be like me and hand the card over without doctoring it up at all – let the kid enjoy it, and it’ll confuse him to no end, which is fun for parents. Heck, half the time I can’t even make out what my son’s talking about, he speaks so fast!
