7 Easter Basket Ideas

Disclosure: NovemberSunflower.com is a small business. In order to survive, there's a need to make money. Candy in Easter baskets isn’t my favorite thing. The kids receive so much candy from other people, I don’t give them any. Instead, my Easter basket ideas are more clothing, and non-candy focused. Is it easy? No. I have a hard time figuring out what to put into the baskets every year. Since I struggle every year with the choices for the kids’ Easter Baskets, I figured others struggled with this same issue. Here’s some oldies, but goodies, to fill your kid’s baskets up!

Seven Easter Basket Ideas

We all thought the fad would go away quickly, but it’s still everywhere. It’s almost as if as older siblings grow out of it, they leave it behind for the younger siblings and the craze continues. Consider including the Shopkins Season-3 America Mega Pack in this year’s Easter Basket.

Skylanders

Skylanders - Skylanders Trap Shadow Figure Swap Force Game Assortment

Skylanders still haven’t died out, and it seems to be sticking around for much longer than I expected it to. Check Skylanders Trap Shadow Figure Swap Force Game Assortment for this year’s basket for you little one.

Pokémon Trading Card Game: XY – Primal Clash Sealed Kyogre Elite Trainer Box

Pokemon Center

Seriously, my niece who turns 16 this October was into this when she was younger. Well, she still is into it, but she’s not trading cards! It’s back, and as annoying as I find it to be, the kids love them. I had no clue there was a game for it, and even though it has a hefty price tag, this one is pretty cool for the kids: Pokémon Trading Card Game: XY – Primal Clash Sealed Kyogre Elite Trainer Box

Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Toothbrush

Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Perhaps the kids need a little incentive to brush, and floss, and rinse all that candy away! Now’s the time to get a fun toothbrush for the kids. Flossing, and brushing are only part of the healthy habits kids need for their teeth. Get that mouth wash habit instilled in them early with Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Colgate Kids TMNT Power Bubble Fruit Anti-cavity Fluoride Rinse.

American Girl

American Girl - Rebecca

My daughter was turned onto American Girl dolls by her Aunt. The doll she received was created to look like her, so she doesn’t have any of the “American Girl” large dolls. Now, there’s a cute selection of WellieWishers, dressed perfectly for SPRING…. and Easter. Check out Willa, she’s too cute on American Girl’s website.

Sew Cool Trendy Fabric Kit and Bonus Backpack Project

Sew Cool Trendy Fabric Kit and Bonus Backpack Project

Little Miss received the Sew Cool sewing machine for Christmas. She’s in love with it. Every time we see a new Sew Cool project, we load up. The tooth fairy has brought her some, and now she’s getting one in her Easter Basket! Check out the one she went bonkers for: Sew Cool Trendy Fabric Kit and Bonus Backpack Project

Spaghetti Headz Feathers

Spaghetti Headz Feathers 3 pack

Oh, these are one of my daughter’s favorite hair accessories. I don’t know if she loves the fact that it’s got a feather at the end, or that it just looks damn cool in her hair. Perhaps it’s because she’s one of the few at her school that has them. Doesn’t matter, they’re perfect for an Easter Basket! Check out the SpaghettiHeadz™ Feathers 3 pack
