You know my love of office supplies, and when they can be used for not just my business, but for the household, it’s kind of a big deal!
We’ve got a whole basement we’re rebuilding, plus I’ve got a few projects I’m working on for NovemberSunflower.com. Brainstorming for all the projects, for the home and for the business, are kind of driving me nuts. Mr. Sunflower hits me with great ideas, but I’m always doing something and forget to write it down and for some reason, he has this deep seeded issue with getting up to find paper, and a pen, to write things down. He knows he’ll forget, and when he tells me things while I’m working on something else, I’m not going to remember.
It’s totally his fault we’re not making millions. He isn’t writing all his fabulous ideas down, so POOF, they vanish into thin air, never coming to fruition. Well, since we can’t have that happen anymore, we’ve got our fabulous whiteboard sheets in a central spot in the house, with our pens close by, so we can just write stuff down in passing.
Our solution: we no longer talk to each other. Let’s face it, both of us are busy and never focusing on what the other is saying. Instead, we write ideas on the whiteboard sheets! Once our minds are ready, we hash our ideas out as we hang in the kitchen, near the whiteboard.
I know, I’m a genius. No need to tell me.

In any event, the whiteboard sheets are easy to put on the wall. There’s no glue, they just unroll and easily stick to the wall, or a door, or any dry, flat surface. Hell, you can even throw them on a window. Pretty sweet. The EcoStatic Inc. Recycled Glue Free SlickyNotes Note Pad can be used in two ways: color side can be written on with pens, markers, pencils; the other side allows you to use dry erase pens on them, so you can erase and re-use them. WICKED COOL, right?
My only issue with the whiteboard sheets is you have to use spray to remove the dry erase markers after it has been on there longer than a day. It would be so much better if we didn’t have that issue. My work-around on that is to just go over it with more dry erase marker, and use the eraser. It kind of wets the already dry marker, and helps to alleviate the need for spray. However, it doesn’t always work!
Man, I love office supplies. I’m totally high on life just seeing these things in my house, and home office! Excuse me while I go play do important business on my whiteboard sheets and SlickyNote Note Pads.
