Ask my family about when Mama Sunflower hasn’t eaten. Hangry is an understatement! No photo can capture just how insane I can be if I haven’t eaten, and it happens almost every day. Crazy as it seems, I forget to eat during the day. Scratch that, it’s not that I totally forget to eat. It’s more me making everything more of a priority, like my work. Whatever the reason, by the time I’m ready to pick the kids up from school, hangry doesn’t cover how I’m feeling.

Hangry is an understatement! Hand me a FUN SIZE® SNICKERS Crisper

Hangry. It’s a popular term describing me if I don’t eat. However, it’s because there isn’t a more powerful word to describe what happens to me when I haven’t eaten. Demon might be too drastic, but it’s a closer representation of what happens to my mood, personality and spirit. I guess you can say I’m kind of like a sarcastic, angry rodent, ummm, wait, not rodent. Raccoon. Like Rocket Raccoon, from Guardians of the Galaxy. GRRRR. Just angry, and ready to tell someone off.

Listen, I’m not proud of it, but it’s something everyone who knows me is familiar with. Everyone knows to step away, and just throw food at me from a safe distance.

Almost everyone thinks it odd I forget to eat. It’s not that I forget. Distractions happen, and time gets away from me. When I realize I haven’t eaten, and the beast is coming out, it’s time to pick up the kids from school. I don’t have time to make something to eat, then sit down to eat it. I just need a little something to take the edge off, so I don’t end up eating my young when they aggravate me with their breathing. Yes, when I’m hangry, even their breathing sets me into a rage.

What’s the solution?

FUN SIZE® SNICKERS Crisper. How can anyone go wrong with caramel, chocolate and nuts! Plus, now, it has a bit of crunch added to it. What’s the crunch? Crisped rice, that’s what. Mr. Sunflower has been instructed to make sure he buys a good supply of FUN SIZE® SNICKERS Crisper at Walmart. He’s fairly happy to accommodate this request, because it means less beastly Mama Sunflower, and calmer Mama Sunflower. At least in theory, right? I’m not sure I’m ever calm, but that’s something we can discuss in another post. For now, we’ll focus on the SNICKERS, and how they’re just 100 calories (my trainer will be happy,) and bite sized.
