Cash Rebate Shopping Series: Halloween Costumes

Halloween Costumes are always a huge pain in the butt, right? It’s easier when they’re a little younger and can’t tell you they dislike the costume, or even have an opinion about it at all, really. But, as they get older, they develop this “opinion” of what they would like to be for Halloween…..but that opinion changes every other week leading up to Halloween. Frustration ensues and it becomes a hassle. I know, I get it. I’ve witnessed it with other families. I’m lucky right now because my son can’t voice his opinion and my daughter decided pretty early on that she wanted to be a witch. YAY for me.

However, shopping for a costume is getting a bit expensive these days and kids just have too many choices! Shopping online for a costume is sometimes easier for parents. They can just show them a couple of choices on the computer, decide on one and that’s it. No going to the store, sifting through different costumes and the temptation for changing from “I want to be Hannah Montana” to “Oh, Mommy, I want to be iCarly” and so on. Of course, if you’re going to look for costumes online, I always recommend starting at a cash rebate site, popping in what you’re looking for in the search box and waiting for the list of websites you can earn cash rebates shopping through, along with all the coupon codes that work with the cash rebate site. Such a lovely, stress free process.

Recently, I went hunting on ShopAtHome. I put in costumes and in return, ShopAtHome shared with me a huge list of stores. After going through multiple ones, I narrowed it down to three that I liked. Halloween Express Costume offers 5% cash rebates, plus a ton of great coupon codes offering buy one get one for 25% off, $15 off orders of $50 or more and just a bunch more that were equally fabulous. I truly loved that they had different categories you could search, such as Kids Costumes for under $20 and under $30, along with adult costumes for under $20. And a huge selection. Impressive.

One website that caught my eye because of the larger cash rebate you could earn was Costumes4less, where you can earn 12% cash rebates. However, they didn’t have any coupons BUT did have a category with a lot of items for under $19.99. The best of the three sites is Costume Discounters. No, they do not give the highest cash rebate, just 5%, BUT they have a few coupon codes, one for FREE SHIPPING on orders of $60 or more. Along with great coupon codes, they have a clearance section that has such cute stuff in it. I saw for $9.97 the following costumes: Curious George, Future American Idol Costume, Kai-Lan and Wanda the Witch. Each one was adorable and if you’ve got a few kids, the free shipping might be something you’ll be able to reach! OR, you can combine your order with a friend, or multiple friends. Offer to put it on your credit card, you’ll earn the cash rebate plus get the free shipping when the order goes over $60. It’s a win-win! Now, my FAVORITE aspect of this particular website is their LOWEST PRICES GUARANTEED. I’m not going to explain it here, you’ll have to click and find out more about it for yourself – I don’t want to screw up the wording. Best to lead you right to it! Happy Shopping and remember, always go to your favorite Cash Rebate sites first when shopping for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING on the internet. You’d be surprised what you’ll find! Come back and let me know what your kids ended up dressing up as!
