Who is November Sunflower?

I’m a born and raised Long Island lady. Little known fact about me: my mother gave birth to me hoping I was a boy. No joke. She had tons of boys names chosen, however, I came out a girl.

Without a solid girl’s name on her list, she asked my sister to pick a name from three choices, or so the story goes. Yep, that’s right. A four-year-old named me, but mom chose how to spell my name. I’ve grown to like my name, but never truly fell in love with it.

What does November Sunflower do?

I share. A lot. Some may say I overshare my thoughts, my observations, and my opinions. It’s all good. I’d rather overshare with sincerity and honesty, as well as integrity. There are times I use humor to get my message across, and there are times I use sarcasm. Buckle up, you never know which one’s coming at any given time.

What can the audience expect from November Sunflower?

Authenticity. Since I was born to write, and never learned how to “filter” my thoughts before they escape through my pie hole, all you get around here is authentic, honest writing.
