I’ve mentioned Jingit a little bit over the last year. It’s fairly easy to use, and it can score you a bit of extra cash. Again, it won’t make you a millionaire, but it will help supplement the old budget. So what the heck is it?
What is Jingit?
Jingit allows brands to pay people actual money for watching ads online, plus checking in and shopping for specific products. Simple, right? Registering is rather easy, too. Two step process, no social security numbers needed. You’ll need to have a valid email address, and you must be able to receive text messages. It’s part of their security fraud minimization.
Brands ask for simple little things, you do them, you get paid real cash with Jingit. WHAT?!!!
How do you use it?
Once you’re registered, you just watch videos, give your feedback, and the cash is placed into your account. If you’ve got a smartphone, or a tablet, you can do the same things on there. Plus when you download the app to your devices, and check in when you shop, you earn more money!
Where’s the cash?
The cash is earned with each ad you watch, and all the checking in, leaving feedback, etc. However, when you first sign up, you will see that you can only earn a certain amount EACH WEEK. HOWEVER, if you refer more people to Jingit, you can increase the weekly earning potential all the way up to $15 per week. Who can’t use $15 per week? Right?!!!!
Steps to Earn Cash

How to get paid?
Well, this is the downer part. If you don’t mind getting their VISA Debit Card, you can get your money placed on the card. Basically, it works like a credit card when you’re using it at a store, or online. It’s basically CASH, but in plastic form. Just like any other debit card, so if it gets lost or stolen, at least you can call them and let them know, unlike cash, where it’ll just be gone. Never to be seen again. So in a way, it’s rather cool. UNCOOL? There’s a $3.00 enrollment fee.
If you get the card, you also have to look at all the fees that you could end up getting hit with for inactive account, or using an ATM machine not in the US Bank ATM network (which aren’t on Long Island,) etc. Such a pain in the backside, I know. However, it’s the only way to get your cash from this program, and since it’s a FREE program, where you’re earning cash for doing some very simple things, hardly taking any time at all, I’m not sure I can complain too much………
but I’m super aggravated that they don’t have a PayPal option. Let’s hope that changes!
Your only other option? Buying music with musicme. You’ll see that banner on the website when you’re signed up.
Personally, I’ve done fairly well with Jingit. Doesn’t take much time, I do it when I remember, and I earn some extra cash. I wasn’t excited about paying a fee for the card, but it’s a one shot fee for enrollment, so I can’t get all amped up about it. It’s free money. I’ve made my peace with it……..or not, whatever. It’s still free money!
And that’s Jingit!
