Holidays in my family revolve around two things: spending time with family, and food. Yeah, we’re pretty simple. If I could just sit at a buffet, surrounded by my family, every holiday, I’d be a happy camper. No gifts. No presents. No cards. Just family, and food. Good times. What I do not like is to have to cook any of the food, or bake any of it. I leave the cooking to the parents, and the baking to my husband. Yes, that’s right. I’m married to a man who can bake. Everything from boxed stuff you find on the shelves of grocery stores, to scratch-made cupcakes, and Struffoli (for the non-Italians out there, those are Honey Balls.) His favorite thing to make? Chocolate brownies. Usually he uses a cooking spray for his glass pan, but this time he’s baking with Pompeian Grapeseed Oil Cooking Spray.

Once November hits, the husband goes into baking mode. We’ve got our kids’ birthdays to start the month off, and then we head through Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities. He makes tons of Struffoli for family, friends, and now we’ll be giving it as gifts this year in lovely glass jars. All the teachers our kids have, they’ll be packing on the pounds with chocolate brownies and honey balls as gifts this year. Oh, and their bus driver, too!

It’s already started, as there’s always a random night when he has a yearning for chocolate….and brownies are his only fix. He wanted to take the new Pompeian Grapeseed Oil Cooking Spray for a test run, before the  major baking starts up.

He’s been won over. It works better than any brand of cooking spray he’s used in that past. I’m a big fan because it’s healthier, plus has Vitamin E and antioxidants in it. Score for the brownies we’re consuming…..by no means are they healthy, but at least they don’t have extra chemicals in them from a cooking spray!

We recommend trying it out, and to help out here’s a link to a set of coupons you can get $1.00 off the Grapeseed Oil spray, or cooking oil. Enjoy!

If you’re feeling lucky, head over to take a survey and be entered to win $200! And always remember, if you love a brand, follow them on Facebook!
