Long Island, my home, draws a huge vacation crowd. Summers on Long Island provides tourism income for so many coastal communities. We’re an island. Beach towns depend on tourists spending money throughout the year, however, summers are the bread and butter for most tourist towns. 2020 hurt many Long Island restaurants, retail shops, and rental properties. Now’s the time to enjoy a dog friendly Port Jefferson staycation on Long Island, and breathe life back into our local communities.
Long Islanders it’s time to enjoy a dog friendly Port Jefferson Staycation
Our most beautiful communities need our help. So many have lost jobs, homes, businesses thanks to the lockdown measures taken here in New York. Many people aren’t able to travel thanks to lack of funds, along with restrictions set up do help combat the spread of a highly contagious virus. We all get why we’re in the predicament we’re in, however, businesses need our help and I’m so down for helping my fellow Long Islanders! Especially when I can bring my fur babies along for the fun.
Fur babies deserve some time away with their humans, right? A pandemic curtails their regular activities, and many have only experienced tense households filled with humans dealing with losing jobs, and trying to pay bills, and losing loved ones. They take on a lot of the stress and negative vibes, working overtime to help their humans feel better. They deserve a little fun, and they should enjoy positive vibes.
