Make Mouthwatering Tacos Every Day of the Week

If I can avoid utensils at dinner, or lunch, or breakfast for that matter, I’m down for it. It’s truly amazing how many dinners require absolutely no forks, spoons, or knives. It’s a beautiful thing. When I plan out my cooking for the week, I look for meals I can use my hands: pizza, gyros, burgers, wraps, and you guessed it, tacos! Making mouthwatering tacos every day of the week is, frankly, a dream come true. Plus, piling guac on them makes my heart sing. You’d think the “same meal” would lack excitement, but with all the various ingredients you can jam in those shells, they’re not the same meal at all.

When you think about it, you can put anything in a taco shell. I prefer crunchy ones, but once in a while I’ll work with a soft taco shell…is it a shell even if it is soft? I don’t know. Plus, there’s a wide variety of alternative shell options, like lettuce or pita bread. I find it best not to overthink it, just dig in and eat all the mouthwatering tacos coming out of my kitchen.

Beef Smileys

I try not to show favoritism when it comes to my taco preferences. Hahahaaa, no I don’t. I’m so pro beef it isn’t funny. Ground beef, steak, shredded – every way is the right way.

Chicken Tacos

I get sometimes you want chicken. It’s apparently a healthier option, right? Especially the white meat. If you’re a beef or pork lover, you can probably adjust this crockpot taco recipe to suit your meat preferences, but the chicken isn’t too bad! If I can break tradition and try it, you can, too!

Shrimp & Seafood Tacos

Although I do enjoy shrimp, lobster, and crab, I’m not as into these foods inside of my taco shells. BUT, I’ve got a shrimp lover in the house so giving some shrimp and seafood options is mandatory. A lot of the flavors go well with chicken, too, if you’re not a fish lover.

Keep in Mind

Any mouthwatering tacos you want to try, you can always change up ingredients. I often do a search for smart swaps for certain ingredients, such as cilantro (I can’t eat it, as it tastes like dish soap). Sweet ingredients need to be swapped with other sweet ones, acids with alternative acids, and so on. Once you know the different kinds of flavors and what they do in combination with other ingredients, you’ll be able to swap stuff out on the fly when you’re whipping up your mouthwatering tacos.
