I’m trying out the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light: One Month Later

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.

Tria Beauty Blue Light

Have you been following my journey with the Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light? I started using the light back in August, and was getting a bit frustrated after the second week……and there wasn’t much to show for a couple of weeks after my second post. However, I think there might be a SLIGHT improvement after using it for a month.

I’ll be totally honest, though, I’m starting to lose hope at this point. It’s really not making much of a difference in my breakouts, so I’m super frustrated, but I keep using it, because I made the commitment to test it out.

Here’s the before, and the afters, side-by-side. Let me know if you see any real difference.

I do see slight differences in your skin actually. If you are worried really about your breakouts, NOTHING you do will really do much good on the outside if you aren’t treating the inflammation on the inside. I have some good ideas on my blog about treating inflammation through diet that WILL help.

Thanks. I see a very slight difference, but not enough to pay for this particular product. I’m glad I got it to review, or I’d be even more upset it wasn’t working better. And thanks for the offer to help. Ironically, my skin has gotten worse since improving my nutrition on the inside. I have the most nutritious products pumping through my body, along with the best Cleanse for Life – but my skin is horrible. There’s not much more I can improve upon on the inside, I’m eating the best of the best, cleansing, and now I’m going to try Coconut Oil on my face to try and improve it. I’m just tired of my skin looking like this, when my insides are immaculate. ARGH!!!!!

Unfortunately what we THINK might be healthy for us causes more inflammation. OR you might just be detoxing and that will make your skin flare up. Coconut oil is not the best solution for most because it tends to clog pores BUT castor and olive or almond DO work…

My skin issue flares because of the cleansing, and the garbage soap I was using. Now I’ve moved onto an oil cleansing that I found online. It’s Castor Oil, along with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. You put it on twice a day, after you put it on, you put a hot wash cloth on your face until it gets to room temperature. It’s made a big difference in just a couple of days. And my skin feels fantastic. Hoping that over the next few days, I will be back to my old, glowing skin without all the crappy acne. UGH. It’s crazy how bad my skin got, but I know it’s because of the cleansing out with Cleanse for Life. And my body might finally be adjusting to the healthier eating habits I have adopted. Now if I could just get that saggy skin under control…….can’t really afford a tummy tuck! LOL!!!!
