There’s nothing worse in this world than going to a Memorial Day Weekend BBQ and the chips suck. I mean, seriously. If you’re going to have a BBQ, you have to have a killer selection of great chips. Yes, burgers, hot dogs, ribs, and more, are must haves for a BBQ. Great cocktails, also a must. However, people don’t remember, the chips! You’ve got to have good ones, or everyone will talk about you. Just sayin’. I mean, I wouldn’t talk about you, but others might. So to save you from this fate, I’ve compiled a list of the 5 best chips to serve at your Memorial Day Weekend BBQ.

Kettle Organic Potato Chips

These chips are CERTIFIED Organic, as well as NON-GMO and Gluten Free. They’re the whole package. There’s a couple of organic options:  Salt & Pepper OR Sea Salt. If you’re going to snack, you might as well snack on healthier options of your favorite snacks!

Find them on Amazon.

Ruffles

I’ve been a fan of Ruffles my entire life. As a kid, mom only purchased Ruffles for our home. Now, let’s be clear. My parents worked 3 jobs at a time throughout the years, just to make ends meat. However, mom never strayed from two brands: Ruffles and Hellmann’s. Mom was very loyal to both of these brands, and honestly, she still is! There’s just something about Ruffles. I mean, Ruffles have ridges! I’m good with original flavor, but I do love Cheddar & Sour Cream, as well as, Sour Cream & Onion. Who doesn’t love Sour Cream & Onion, right?

Herr’s

Herr’s weren’t chips I’d ever had in our house. These were chips I’d experience at friend’s homes, or the home of a relative. Holiday parties, birthday parties, and of course, BBQs, always require some kind of chip and dip situation. It was at other people’s homes I first had Herr’s. It’s a solid chip, and a definite favorite of many party goers. You won’t go wrong with chips like this, and they have the wide ridges, so they can really scoop up that dip! The Horseradish and Cheddar flavor? Just shut up and take my money. Take it.

Trader Joe’s Organic Corn Chip Dippers

If you’re serving up guac, or salsa, or some other kind of healthy dip at your party – check out Trader Joe’s Organic Corn Chip Dippers. They’re certified organic, gluten free and pretty damn sturdy!

Personally, I enjoy them with organic sour cream. Anything that helps me shovel as much sour cream into my body, whilst chemical free, is a winner! Find them over on Amazon.com.

Food Should Taste Good

Food Should Taste Good has an excellent selection of chips. You’re going to have some people out there who don’t do “white potatoes.” All they eat are sweet potatoes. Understood, and here’s a great option with original flavor, along with a few others. I’m not a huge fan of sweet potato, but for some reason I’m good with these chips. I love the Barbecue flavor. Heck, it goes with the theme, right? Memorial Day Weekend BBQ + Barbecue flavored chips = HAPPY GUESTS
