FiberChoice® Fruity Bites are a hit with my picky eater A.K.A. The Boy

Trying to get The Boy, one of the pickiest eaters on the planet, to try anything new, let alone anything HEALTHY, is a battle every day. It’s a battle ALL DAY every day. It’s kind of why, when amazing sponsored post opportunities like the one Smiley360 provide me with, I take them! The FiberChoice® Fruity Bites are a hit with my picky eater, A.K.A. The Boy. Let’s find out why, shall we?

Well, it’s right there in the name of them. #FruityBites. When you make something into a gummy, and make it taste like candy – even a picky eater is going to enjoy it. Am I right, or am I right? Normally, my son won’t go near a piece of fruit, but give him something that’s shaped like a fruit, and tastes like candy – he’s kind of like any other kid out there. He eats it without giving me an issue.

He has no clue I’m jamming him full of natural fiber, also known as inulin. Both my kids have been taking these, and over the last month, there’s been a huge improvement in their digestion. We’re not getting as much “diarrhea” as we once were with the kids, and their odd eating habits. I’m taking them too, and I have to say, it’s got a great reaction for my digestion. I no longer have to take a prebiotic before each meal, to help with a lot of my “dairy” issues I’ve suffered from over the years. I mean, there are only so many onions I can eat to get the benefits of prebiotics, and I’ve had to rely on supplements for this little goodie for a long time. Now my supplements taste like candy, so it’s working out well for all three of us here at our house. Hubby wouldn’t take them, heaven forbid we put healthy things into his body, right?!!!

Inulin – What is it?

Inulin is a prebiotic. It’s a natural form of a prebiotic, and it’s normally found in fruits and veggies. My son doesn’t eat any fruits, except grapes, and even though my daughter loves fruit, she’s not a huge fan of eating that many bananas every day……

I’m a big fan of garlic, and onions, but again, if I ate as much of those veggies as I needed to make my prebiotics work well in my gut, I’d probably have no friends – they’d only call me on the phone to talk, they’d never want to hang out – unless they really loved the smell of garlic and onions…..

Prebiotic – What’s so great about it?

Basically, they help the “good bacteria” in your intestines grow. Why do we want bacteria to grow in our intestines? They help, along with probiotics, to keep your digestive system healthy. When you’re on antibiotics, your doctor usually tells you to eat yogurt, right? That’s a probiotic, which helps your stomach handle being stripped of all bacteria while taking the antibiotics. It’ll help keep you from getting “the runs.” Together with a probiotic, the prebiotic keep everything “humming” throughout your digestive tract.

Processed Foods

If you’re eating a lot of processed foods, which have very little fiber, and have lots of sugar in them – unfortunately, you aren’t getting enough prebiotics in your daily routine. Our family eats very few processed foods……well three of us, anyway. However, there are still frozen waffles, and pretzels, as well as crackers, and bread, in our diets. Are we perfect? No. I grew up on processed foods, it’s what I know. My kids have access to these types of foods, it’s the world we live in. We just try to balance it out, and having FiberChoice Fruity Bites helps.

I can see why Staci; this brand rocks. I think I downed Fiber Choice yogurt a while back; aids digestion, tasty, thumbs up on it!

So true. It’s just amazing for your gut. Especially if you find yourself not eating the best of the best foods……

I should look into these! I’m not big on the powdered fiber. I’d rather do something like this where I can just eat a few yummy treats and be done with it.

I’ve used powder fiber in my protein shakes, and these gummies. I like them both, and honestly, I think for the kids and my husband, the gummies are the best choice for us! Great price, too!
