I can get through the holidays almost completely stress-free. ALMOST. My biggest stress points during the holidays? Wrapping gifts is the biggest one, and choosing holiday cards. Ironically, these stress points are the start of the holiday season, and the end of the holiday season! I start and end my most joyous time of the year with stress. How is that possible?
Wrapping gifts is the worst. It kills my back. It’s BORING. I much prefer purchasing the gifts, and letting my husband wrap them all. However, I totally cringe when we have to discuss the Holiday Cards. It’s that time of the year again here at our house, and it’s not our “finest hour.”
Let me boil it down for you: I like a card with fun graphics, and fonts. My husband? He wants a plain, BLAH, boring card that says Merry Christmas. Just opposites attracting on our worst day of the year, EVERY YEAR. In the end, I normally win. Happy life, Happy wife – he’s finally getting the picture!
Tiny Prints is my all time favorite site to order my cards through. It’s got the high quality cards I love, but what sets them apart, and pushes them into the higher strata-sphere? Customer Service. It’s by far the best customer service oriented company I have ever had the pleasure of ordering from. Last year they went OVER THE TOP for me, and my order. Personal emails, just to make sure the image was what I wanted, because it wasn’t the world’s best shot. The graphics people worked super hard to make it look as great as they could, because it was just a smidge blurry. Every step of the way, they were on top of every aspect of my order.
Mama doesn’t forget these things! It’s the first place I thought of when October rolled around, and I had to start hunting for cards for this year. I found amazing new designs, plus they have new Premium DoubleThick™ Matte Paper! I’m going to have a tough time deciding, but it’s going to be such a fantastic experience once the decision is made on what card to order, I’m going to be a little less stressed out this year!
I wonder if they’d be willing to wrap my gifts this year, too…….
