Disclosure: I received the Nerf Rebelle Super Soaker Dolphina Bow in order to facilitate this write-up. There was no monetary compensation, just good, clean outdoor water fun with the kids! All opinions are mine, and those of my children. Enjoy!
Every year the kids get out of school in June. It’s just part of life here on Long Island. These same kids don’t go back to school until September. After Labor Day. Yes, over 90 days of children home from school, all day, every day. What the hell do you do all 90 days? Personally, we prefer to be outdoors, away from the television and the electronics. My kids get hot, though. We don’t have a pool of our own, we always head to Nana and Grandpa’s for swimming. As good as my kids are, even my parents can’t have them over every day. What’s Mama Sunflower suppose to do with them on a beautiful summer day, without a pool? SOAK ‘EM. Outdoor water fun with Nerf is the only way to go!
Outdoor water fun
No pool at your house? No problem. Just invest in a couple of quality Nerf super soakers! There’s a ton to choose from, and the girl’s can even get themselves a feminine soaker! Oh yeah, my friends. It’s on like Donkey Kong for the summer! Little Miss has found her outdoor water fun in the simplest of soakers! She’s very excited to take her brother on all summer long, that’s for sure. Feel bad for The Boy? Don’t, he’ll be fine. I’ve got a great soaker for him, too! We’re sharing that bad boy another day, so keep an eye out for the full review of the Nerf Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow Water Blaster. It’s a mouthful, right? It’s so cool, you’re going to love it.
Right now, though, Little Miss is all about her Nerf Rebelle Super Soaker Dolphina Bow. It’s got all the fun of a super soaker, but it’s super pretty for the “girly girl” in her. She gets to be bad-ass, but with her girly-girliness still intact! Who wouldn’t love the Rebelle? Just look at it!
The Nerf Rebelle is super easy to fill up with clean water from a hose. No pool water. The chlorine isn’t good for water guns! The water fills the “wings” of the bow. It’s a lot of water in there, but it isn’t super heavy. She had no issues holding it up, and pulling back the “bow.” Even her brother could do it without issues, but not for long. Little Miss wasn’t in love with sharing her soaker. Ironically, we had chosen a bathing suit for her to wear that matched the #Rebelle – it was just meant to be!
My favorite part about the Nerf Rebelle Super Soaker Dolphina Bow? Besides the smiles it brought to my kids, most especially my daughter, was the price tag. It’s a solid toy and only runs a parent $16.99. An entire summer of outdoor water fun for just $16.99. It’s Nerf, so it’s made really well, and will stand up to two youngsters living la vida loca through 90+ days of summer!
Two thumbs up? Try three sets of two thumbs up from November Sunflower! Get one, you’ll thank me later!
