One Little Boy sleeps with his MegaBloks truck. My work here is done!

There’s a little boy out there who is actually napping with his Mega Bloks® First Builders™ Tiny ‘n Tuff Race ‘n Chase Rig, and it couldn’t make me any more happy to be a blogger! I get to offer such amazing things to the people in my world, and knowing that a little boy is insanely in love with his new toy, makes it THAT MUCH SWEETER.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of hosting a MommyParties™ Mega Bloks® First Builders™ party. Always a good time for me, because I get to share amazing toys with some amazing families. Friends, and family, always know when I’m asking them to test out some goodies, they’re going to be photographed, and written about, so BEWARE!!!! This weekend was no exception!

My big box of goodies this time around included Mega Bloks® First Builders™:

Mega Bloks Play 'n go Wagon

Mega Bloks Tiny 'n Tuff Race 'n Chase Rig

Mega Bloks First Builders ABC

My son was happy, because he hadn’t had the chance to host a party with his age friends for a long time. The last one he was a big part of was the Toy Story toys from a couple of years ago. So he was excited to have kids his own age, come and play, and have a ball. My son is going to be 4, and we had kids ages 13 months to 6 years old at our party this time. Now, the five, and six year old girls, were here to hang with my daughter, because they were way too old for these particular toys, but they had younger siblings attending!

And that’s my main “bone to pick” with these toys. They say they are good for ages 1 through 5……and I have to say, that’s a big N-O. The ages for these toys is more like one year old, to at most, 4 years old. No way a bunch of five year old kids will be playing with these, unless they are super bored, and there’s nothing else to do. OR, the children have a younger sibling and are showing them how to use the blocks. It’s just not happening for kids any older than 4. Sorry! It’s just the honest truth.

Other than that, the Mega Bloks are high quality, easy to manipulate with small fingers, and little ones will love the colors of everything. The Tiny ‘n Tuff Race ‘n Chase Rig was a HUGE hit with the kids, but once our little fan got his hands on it, no one else had a chance. He loved that thing, and played with it the entire time. Then he was the one who got to take it home, and his Mom told me he took it in with him for nap time. SCORE one for Mega Bloks!!!

Huge hit, kids had a blast, and the Moms are loving the gift bags of ABC Spell! and 1-2-3 Count! bags. Such a great little set of blocks you can buy that help teach ABC’s and counting, and even math. The fact that it comes in a nice, sturdy bag, is VERY HELPFUL for traveling. Loved it. Even my son loves them, and was excited when he got to keep a set for himself. (It happens when you get a cancellation.)

Kids loving Mega BloksI would totally buy this for friends who are having 1st birthday parties for their little ones, or a cute little stocking stuffer if you want to get the ABC Spell! or 1-2-3 Count! Kids under the age of 4 will love all of it, and any kid who  loves cars, and trucks, will completely fall in love with the Tiny ‘n Tuff Race ‘n Chase Rig. No doubt.

You can purchase any of these items on www.megabloks.com, or in retail stores near you.

*I received these products at no charge in order to facilitate this party. All opinions of mine, and the party attendees. Thanks to MomSelect and Mega Bloks!
