We’re fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, we know there’s a lot of kids out there who are also fans, and a lot of families are trying to figure out which of the MANY Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys out right now are a good deal. Which ones will provide a lot of value. We’ve got our own opinions in this post, as always!

It’s time to stock up on summer fun. As a kid, if we weren’t in the pool, my mom had us riding bikes, or playing in the yard on our swing set. We’d spend hours outside all summer long, and we loved it. I don’t recall it being as hot back then, or as humid, or having so many damn mosquitoes out all day long……

Another popular summer activity? Running through the sprinklers, and having water gun fights. Remember those cheesy, plastic things? They’d come in crazy bright colors, have a little white plug on the top of the gun to fill it up, and the little white plastic trigger! We’d dunk them into the pool to fill them up, and go nuts on each other. They came in all different sizes, and we’d always have the most fun chasing each other around, or using them in the pool.

I grew out of my love for the pool. I’m still not a huge fan of a pool. My parents have one, and the kids are in it every weekend. However, I don’t want one at our house. It’s too much work, and honestly, I just don’t want the responsibility of having one in our yard. Plus, we live on a lake. We’re all good here with bodies of water making me nervous with my kids falling into it. I’m all filled up on that paranoia.

However, we do like some great water fights in the yard! Our garden hoses are used a lot, as we wash our cars. Now? Well, The Boy has gotten himself a great little weapon of “mass watering.” Poor Little Miss got the brunt of it recently, and both haven’t stopped fighting over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Water Shell Blaster. Talk about a THUMBS UP masterpiece of a toy. Little Kids, Inc. got it totally right with this one, even if the Turtles logo is UPSIDE DOWN on the shell…..I’m still shaking my head over that silly mistake. To give them a little benefit of the doubt – I probably got one of them BEFORE they fixed the mistake, so if you come across Little Kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Water Blaster
on Amazon with my affiliate link, you’ll probably find it has been corrected! Plus, it’s such a great price of $16.99.

Please don’t assume this is for little kids, either. My older nephew loved it, too. Of course, The Boy wouldn’t take it off his back….but he did let his cousin play a little bit.

Now, when I think about Summer, I also think about blowing bubbles. It’s not just something my kids love. I totally love bubbles. Everyone loves bubbles. They just make you smile, whatever age, or whatever mood you’re in! When I first pulled Little Kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bubble Launcher out of the box, my son just wanted to use the cool bottle to fill the launcher with bubbles. He didn’t quite understand what was about to transpire……

Our first attempt didn’t go as planned, sure, but even with bubbles in his eyes, the kid kept at it! He did finally get it to launch properly, but Little Miss really got it working for her brother to chase bubbles!

We’ll make it official, and give the TWO THUMBS UP seal of approval from the Sunflowers themselves!

Our traveling summer bag now includes this Bubble Launcher……..after pool time, Little Miss was off launching lots of bubbles. Nana wants one for herself now, so it truly is a great toy for all ages! I wish I’d known before her birthday gift was purchased, I’d have gotten her one. I mean, for $15.99 you can’t go wrong!
