Need Workout Motivation?

Dance

Dance cardio classes such as Zumba are sure to get your heart rate up, but they hardly feel like exercise. Instead, you can let the instructor turn up the music and show you a new dance move or two.

If you love to dance but aren’t sure about dance cardio, try a barre class. You can learn to be graceful like a ballerina while working muscles you might have never known existed and toning your whole body.

Power Moves

Kickboxing and martial arts are both classes that can help you feel strong and powerful. Both of these classes require tons of muscle control and some aerobic movement, so they’ll leave you lean and toned as well.

Alternatively, you can tap into your sexiest self by joining a pole dancing class. Not only is it tons of fun, you’ll also develop some crazy core strength.

Child-Like Fun

Try a trampolining class. All that jumping will give you a calorie-torching cardio workout, but you’ll feel like you’re in your childhood friend’s backyard.

Indoor cycling classes are another great option. With an instructor to keep you moving and guide you through new challenges, you’re sure to get a great lower body and cardio workout while enjoying the experience of riding a bike.

Goat yoga is an increasingly popular class that allows you to get all the strengthening benefits of yoga poses while making new animal friends.

If you’ve ever wanted to fly, a trapeze class will take you pretty close. Just because you spend most of your time in the air doesn’t mean you’re not getting a good workout: your whole upper body might be sore for days afterward.

In the end, working out with others is much more fun than being alone. The next time you’re feeling unmotivated to work out, remember that there are always exciting alternatives to the gym. Fitness classes are a great way to come together with other people and have fun while getting a crazy-hard workout in.
