Once Upon a Zombie from WowWee

I’m not sure if anyone out there has noticed, but a lot of crazy stuff is popular right now. It’s all about the dark side of story telling, with shows like Grimm, and Once Upon a Time. Plus, there’s tons of movies, and toys, based on things like Zombies. Yup, Zombies. It was only a matter of time before a toy company made sure to get into the action!

While attending the TTPM showcase this year, I stumbled across a very unique doll from WowWee. WowWee has managed to capture the Zombie world with Toon Studio! Together they’ve created Fairytale Princesses with a totally fabulous spin to them! Once Upon a Zombie™ are 11 inches dolls that are based on some familiar princesses we’ve all known, and loved, for many years. It’s amazing what a secret curse can do to six of the most iconic princesses…….

The Summer of 2013 will be forever remembered as the summer our cherished princesses became ZOMBIES. You’ve got Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Little Mermaid, all zombified and ready to become a part of your home.

Personally, I think it’s rather cool. I cannot wait to see them hit shelves! It’s such a great item for older girls, or ladies, who love the whole princess world, but also love the new grimmer shows like Grimm, and Once Upon a Time, or the zombie movies coming out all over the place. It’s a great new spin on a very old classic group of gals!

I’m excited! The dolls I got to see were beautifully done. There’s a lot of attention to detail, and the quality of them was impeccable. I was surprised when I was told they’d only be $19.99.

These are pretty cool. We’ve come a long way from Disco Barbie.

Oh yes, Barbie, in general, has nothing on these ladies! The detail on them is rather cool. I’m excited to see them in stores!
