Where can one find movies for $1? It’s kind of easy to locate IF you know where to look. Hey, that’s why I’m here, right? I search this kind of stuff out, and share it. It’s what I do! Let’s share!

Regal Entertainment Group theatres show their $1 movies at select theatres on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 A.M. Even better, you know how I love to get super inexpensive things, but also give back while doing so, right? Well, when you pay your $1 admission, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute. Summer movie express at Regal follows the below schedule:

  • Week  1 (July 1st & 2nd:) Hotel Transylvania & The Smurfs 2
  • Week 2 (July 8th & 9th:) Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 & The Pirates: Band of Misfits
  • Week 3 (July 15th & 16th:) Authur Christmas & Despicable Me 2
  • Week 4 (July 22nd & 23rd:) The Lego Movie & Free Birds
  • Week 5 (July 29th & 30th:) The Adventures of Tintin & Rise of the Guardians
  • Week 6 (August 5th & 6th:) Kung Fu Panda 2 & Madagascar 2
  • Week 7 (August 12th & 13th:) The Croods & Epic
  • Week 8 (August 19th & 20th:) Turbo & Walking with Dinosaurs
  • Week 9 (August 26th & 27th:) Mr. Peabody & Sherman and Rio 2

If you live on Long Island, the Regal in Suffolk County with this program is located in Deer Park. It’s the one at The Outlets on Commack Road. It’s also in the UA Farmingdale. If you’re in Nassau County, check out the UA Westbury Stadium in Westbury, and the Regal Atlas Park Stadium in Glendale.
