Disclosure: This shop for #TheSims4 has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. The Sims™ 4 launch happened this week. All opinions about the game are 100% my opinion. Enjoy!
It’s time to start creating a world where homes don’t flood, and kids are always getting along. Fantasy? Sure, but with The Sims™ 4 launch that happened on September 2nd at Walmart, it’s possible. I understand, it’ll only be possible on my husband’s laptop, but it’s nice to just run away to the computer and not worry about the real world. Plus, who doesn’t love a trip to Walmart on one of the last days of summer vacation for the kids? Since my two are going back later than almost every other school district in my area, the place was EMPTY. Sweet for doing a #CollectiveBias #shop! Bring. It. On.
The Sims™ 4 Launch
As a girl who uses a Mac computer, relying on my husband’s laptop is kind of interesting. Normally he’s on there doing his Fantasy baseball and football business. Now? It’s downtime for me, and my Sims world, while he finds things to do in our flooded basement of doom. The Sims™ 4 world vs. the real world – there’s no contest. Real world these days isn’t much fun without a larger cash flow to ease the stress. Escaping to another world is obviously not solving our real world issues, but it’s nice to get lost in the fun of it for a couple of hours.
I’ve got a rather large personality, and now, I can make my “character” really show the real me. Before The Sims™ 4 version, the characters were a bit…. mechanical. They looked pretty cool, and lifelike, but really, it was lacking. Now? I can really dig into my story telling, and my character can be as funny and strange as I am in real life. The best part? I can remove all the crappy aspects of my personality… I’m not moody in The Sims™ 4! Especially if a flood hits the house, but of course, in The Sims™ 4 there will be no floods in my home.
If you’ve met me in person, you’ll also notice I’m top heavy. “Top heavy” means I’ve got a nice set; a good rack. Of course, my character is going to have a nice rack. It’s one of my defining attributes, good, or bad. It is what it is! Now I can build my shape super fast. I just kind of click on the areas I want to work on and either grow the parts, or shrink the parts. It’s kind of like sculpting, instead of having to use the old Sims programs!
Of course, after creating the awesomeness that is me with a few clicks, it’s time to share. There’s a Gallery where uploading, and downloading is easier than in previous versions! If you’re creating something awesome, things need to be shared! And share we all can! BAM!
Bonus when buying The Sims™ 4
I’m not a big candy person, nor are the kids. However, when you buy The Sims™ 4 at Walmart, you can score yourself some Sour Patch Kids gum. Since I shopped with the kids, we skipped that part of the whole experience. Don’t forget where to find the game…. it’s in the electronics area, right by those awesome flat screen televisions!

Haha! I love that you can “sculpt” your Sims body to be exactly what you want! The new features in this game are great! #client
Exactly. I might as well nip and tuck my virtual body, since in real life that’s not happening! LOL.
