Enjoying some me time at NYC Social
Me time is so important in life. I use to hit the nail salon, but becoming more healthy and fit, I'm kind of more apt to hit the local #NYCSocial sports leagues - especially since they have the too fun Inner Tube Water Polo league!

Teaching kids to read with an app
Learn with Homer may have been something a #commoncore advocate started, but it's still a great app to enhance the learning experience for your kids! Start them early, and by Kindergarten they'll probably be reading all on their own with this app. It's fun, it doesn't have the feel of common core curriculum at all. #LearnwithHomer is a must in our house - The Boy is in love with it!

I'm not much of a cook, as we all know, but I do make a good Turkey chili. At least that's what I'm told. Sure, they could all be trying to make me feel better, but I like it, so I'm going to believe them all! We're celebrating August with 31 days of photos while we make chili (in the crockpot, it's too hot for the stove to be on.)
