The Masters Tournament sparks the love of golf each spring for the kids. It's the reminder they need to ask me to sign them up for our local town programs, and camps. I've never been a lover of golf, I'm a tennis girl. Their adoration for the sport of golf is directly traced back to [...]
New York still has a winter break. It's always in February. Winter break is bullshit, sorry, there's no other way to say it. It's unnecessary, and needs to be removed from the school calendar. Now that the weather has changed so dramatically over the years, those days should be incorporated into our calendar as SNOW [...]
Summer's here, and there's not always the option to send kids to camp. What can you do with them? Free bowling for kids happening all summer long!
Summer's can be hard on parents, right? Never enough to keep the kids occupied. Well, take them to the movies for $1 all summer long!
Disclosure: Disney was nice enough to send me, the kids, and Mr. November Sunflower to see the movie at a local theatre on Long Island. No monetary compensation was offered, just a chance to view the movie so I could give my honest opinion about #Maleficent. Honest to goodness truth? I'm not a fan of [...]
As always, I'm so thankful to Disney for sending me to see Million Dollar Arm with my family. It's always nice to attend without having to pay, however, as always, I'm going to give my opinions - the good, and the bad. Everything here is 100 percent my own! Let's dig in, shall we? What's [...]

We're Disney movie lovers, and Monsters University didn't let us down. The Boy had to stand up, out of his seat, so he could dig deep into his belly to get that laughs out LOUD AND PROUD. He even said dialogue along with the movie since he'd seen the previews on TV so often!
The monkey was cute, Franco had some funny moments, Michelle Williams was her usual self......nothing spectacular. Wait to see it on TV!
It's a blessing to have a daughter. It's also extremely difficult to teach little girls about self-esteem, and developing them from the inside out. When your daughter is beautiful, it's a larger battle, and I've taken this battle on BIG TIME. Beauty's Secret is going to be a huge help getting my little girl to understand what inner beauty truly is.
Barclays Center has a lot to learn about preparing for large crowds!
Doesn't matter what age, kids can learn about recycling, re-using, and reducing their garbage - and this book is the perfect way to do it.
