Music is probably the only thing in our family's life that unites us in ways we can't even understand. I'm not a musician, nor do I sing very well. However, there's something about music that calms me, and it can change my mood in a millisecond. I can get into the car in a crappy [...]

Disclosure: I received the My Monopoly game, courtesy of Hasbro. Affiliate links may be used within this post. Growing up, I loved playing Monopoly. A rainy day, or a snowy day, or even a day that was beautiful out and we were outside with no place to go - there's was nothing better than cracking [...]
Chris Pratt dancing to 80 music.... that. is. all. #guardiansofthegalaxy
It's always a good idea to learn a musical instrument. Start the kids young, make it a fun experience, and it'll benefit them for years to come!
Summer's here, and there's not always the option to send kids to camp. What can you do with them? Free bowling for kids happening all summer long!
Summer's can be hard on parents, right? Never enough to keep the kids occupied. Well, take them to the movies for $1 all summer long!
Disclosure: Disney was nice enough to send me, the kids, and Mr. November Sunflower to see the movie at a local theatre on Long Island. No monetary compensation was offered, just a chance to view the movie so I could give my honest opinion about #Maleficent. Honest to goodness truth? I'm not a fan of [...]
As always, I'm so thankful to Disney for sending me to see Million Dollar Arm with my family. It's always nice to attend without having to pay, however, as always, I'm going to give my opinions - the good, and the bad. Everything here is 100 percent my own! Let's dig in, shall we? What's [...]

Disney Frozen is a must see, and honestly, spend the extra couple of bucks to see it in 3D. It'll make a difference, a very big difference.
It's all kinds of interactive fun with #thelittlemermaid for the #secondscreenlive theatrics.
Celebrating #31daysofphotos with a proud picture of my son in his new Gi. Finally got him started at the dojo with his big sister!

Disney's Planes - a total win for kids! Plus, the adults will have a great time, too.
We're Disney movie lovers, and Monsters University didn't let us down. The Boy had to stand up, out of his seat, so he could dig deep into his belly to get that laughs out LOUD AND PROUD. He even said dialogue along with the movie since he'd seen the previews on TV so often!
Dinosaurs, 3D movie, shows, and so much more are in.........New Jersey! Kids had a blast on our day trip to visit, and learn about, Dinosaurs.
The show is based on a Ben Winters book, and the quality of the performance makes this a high value ticket price for me and my family.
The monkey was cute, Franco had some funny moments, Michelle Williams was her usual self......nothing spectacular. Wait to see it on TV!
It's a blessing to have a daughter. It's also extremely difficult to teach little girls about self-esteem, and developing them from the inside out. When your daughter is beautiful, it's a larger battle, and I've taken this battle on BIG TIME. Beauty's Secret is going to be a huge help getting my little girl to understand what inner beauty truly is.
Be Your Own You Magazine inspires girls to have healthy self-esteem. It's about time there was a magazine like this, perhaps one for adult ladies might be in order!
If your child can read, it's a great book. But what is even better? When they may not be able to read, but they know their own name. When my son recognized his name in the book, while I was reading it, he was in awe. Seriously LOVED IT.
Hurricane sandy has done damage here on Long Island, but I had to get something up to show the love for Wreck-it Ralph.
If you love Abba, you'll obviously love Mamma Mia! on Broadway. The current cast is fantastic, and their voices were dynamite!
Barclays Center has a lot to learn about preparing for large crowds!
